Britvic launch new hub to support licensees

Britvic has launched a new hub of information via its Sensational Drinks platform to support outlets during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The soft drinks manufacturer has a range of guidance available, from technical support on how to protect kit, external resources that offer financial advice, a downloadable guide to help outlets manage their dispense equipment during a temporary closure, with information on how to correctly shut down and restart the system and a partnership with Ananas to offer all hospitality staff free access to its training programme up until at least 1 June, and CPL Learning for free mental health and personal resilience courses.

Phil Sanders (pictured), GB out of home commercial director at Britvic, commented: "These are extraordinary times and certainly the most challenging in the history of the hospitality industry. Never has it been more important that we come together, share our challenges and come up with workable solutions for the benefit of all. We want to stand with you, arming you with a one-stop resource of all the possible information and advice you could need to get through this time.

"Additionally, I want to reassure you that we're currently working on recovery plans, focusing on prioritising our investment to be ready to support you when your business re-opens. We are working with key partners to build these support plans and will use our portfolio to help you recover sales. As we progress through uncertain times, we will ensure we update our hub to keep you informed and supported wherever possible."
