UK remains among lowest rated for hotel guest satisfaction in Europe
The UK is still trailing behind other European countries in hotel guest satisfaction, according to a new survey.
User of Hotel Info, an international hotel booking website, scored hotels out of 10 on room quality, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, noise, price-performance ratio, sport/wellness offers and breakfast/gastronomy.
According to the results, while the UK kept its score from the previous year (7.39) and was a vast improvement on its score five years ago (6.75), it still came 24th out of 25 countries, beating only Denmark (7.19). Top country Slovakia received a rating of 8.25.
