The Inn on the Green hotel

Restaurateur and hotelier Mark Fuller is to relaunch his Inn on the Green hotel in Cookham Dean in Berkshire this spring.

Fuller, whose company Concept Venues opened the Sanctum Soho hotel last year, will relaunch the hotel as Sanctum on the Green in April.

The property, which will undergo a £1m refurbishment overseen by Wrotham Interiors, will be reopen as a nine-bedroom boutique hotel including three suites.

It will be overseen by general manager Steve Carrodus, previously of Blake’s hotel in London, with Sanctum executive chef Noel Capp heading up the food operation.

Facilities at Sanctum on the Green will include a bespoke wedding service, an outdoor hot tub, heated courtyard and swimming pool.

Fuller, who also owns the Embassy brand of nightclubs and restaurants as well as Geales fish restaurant, told Caterersearch the hotel would be totally exclusive.

“We have completely knocked Inn on the Green down and rebuilt it,” he said.

“The restaurant will be open to the public but the rest of the hotel will be totally exclusive.”

He added that he has plans for possibly two more Sanctum hotels “in Chelsea, Brighton or both”.
