The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 17 February, 2008
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 1.98% in the week ending 17 February, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar dropped to £99.63, down from £101.64 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy declined by 2.88 percentage points to 74.87% while average room rate grew by 1.79% to £133.06 compared with £130.72 in the corresponding week of 2007.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
