Bespoke signs mangement contract with Welsh hotel

Bespoke Hotels has signed a management contract for the Aberavon hotel in Wales.

The 52-bedroom Aberavon comprises six conference rooms, a restaurant and leisure facilities.

It has recently undergone renovation described by newly installed general manager Stuart McManus as one that would "appeal to business and leisure visitors, as well as weddings and conference organisers".

Although the Aberavon will continue to be marketed by Best Western, Bespoke are managing the hotel with McManus heading up the operation.

McManus has previously worked with Marriot International in Bristol and Manchester, and said he was "looking forward to the challenge ahead".

The Aberavon will become the twelfth of Bespoke's UK hotels and will be part of its Befriend Collection.

Bespoke recently announced it had signed a management contract with Fishponds Hotel in East Devon and it has also started work on extending the premises of its private members club Home House in the capital.
