Lindley Group enters into partnership with Green's of London

Stadia caterer Lindley Group, previously Lindley Catering, has entered into partnership with London oyster bar and restaurant Green's.

Owned by Simon Parker Bowles, the restaurant was established in Duke Street, St James's, in 1982 and has grown to include an outside catering arm.

Lindley said the move was part of its strategy to establish partnerships with event catering specialists and likened it to its 2006 merger with chef Paul Heathcote's event company Heathcotes Outside.

Green's event arm, set up four years ago, currently caters for clients including Lords Cricket Ground, Goodwood (motor festivals), Cowes, Aintree and Newbury Racecourses and the polo at Windsor.

Alex McCrindle, chief executive Lindley, said: "Our association with Heathcotes Outside has opened up a number of opportunities for both parties such as being awarded the £20m catering contract for the Echo Arena Liverpool.

"We believe the partnership with Green's will rove to be another winner in terms of adding to the quality of service we can offer to our clients."
