Keith Prowse wins five-year deal at Wimbledon tennis championships
Keith Prowse, Compass Group's specialist hospitality division, has been awarded a lucrative five-year contract to deliver overseas tours and UK hospitality programmes at the Championships, Wimbledon.
The new appointment, which starts in 2013, was awarded by the All England Club and builds on Keith Prowse's close partnership with Wimbledon that dates back to 1982.
More than 10,000 people are expected to go through the tour programme and hospitality packages annually, made up of the Wimbledon Experience and the new-look Gatsby Club, which was revamped last year.
Mick Desmond, commercial director of the All England Club, said: "After a very competitive tender process we are delighted to award a new five-year hospitality and overseas tours contract to Keith Prowse as our senior partner in this field.
"We have worked closely with Keith Prowse for 30 years, during which time they have consistently delivered top-quality customer service at the Championships."
Andy Vinsen, commercial director for Keith Prowse, said the company was looking forward to continuing its long and successful relationship with Wimbledon.
Keith Prowse features a string of high-profile events on its portfolio, including Twickenham, Lord's, Kia Oval, Edgbaston and Henley Royal Regatta.
