Charity Action Against Hunger has teamed up with restaurant bookings website Toptable to run a celebrity chef auction as part of its Love Food Give Food Festival next month.
Designed to encourage consumers to support the humanitarian organisation - which is committed to saving the lives of malnourished children - by dining out, the festival will see hundreds of restaurants help raise funds by running special offers or asking diners to add a discretionary donation to their bill.
The celebrity chef auction will include top London chefs Jun Tanaka of Pearl, Atul Kochhar of the Michelin-starred Benares, and Cyrus Todiwala of Café Spice Namaste hosting dinners at their restaurants for 12 winning bidders.
Other auctions will include a one-off VIP Diwali banquet featuring six of London's top Indian chefs on Sunday 30 October. Bids can be made on eBay until next Thursday, 6 October.
