Euro-persones sets up shop

Recruitment consultancy Euro-persones has made several appointments following the establishment of its first office in the UK last year.

Headed by GarethJones and GeoffPhipps, the consultancy now has offices in Cambridge, Bristol, Orense (Spain) and Andorra, and specialises in permanent recruitment for the hotel market.

The directors, previously at recruiter Roche, believe bringing a global approach to the market will pay dividends and to that end are looking at opening an office in Barcelona by the end of this year.

At the company's Cambridge office there have been three appointments: Catherine Winstanley has joined as a country house hotels consultant. She was events manager for the Royal Society of Arts in London.

Ben Sennitt has joined as group and corporate hotels consultant. He was senior consultant at Hays Montrose, Cambridge.

Shannon Phipps has joined as Cambridge branch manager. She was a senior consultant at Reed Employment, Cambridge.
