Chris Norton has been promoted to director of marketing and communication at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, with responsibility for developing the school's global marketing programme. He was head of recruitment at the Swiss school.

Wayne Asson and Stephen Sweeting have joined Whittlebury Hall hotel in Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, as executive chef and head chef respectively. They held the same positions at the Belfry, Birmingham.

Tina Hambleton has also joined as chef de partie. She held the same position at the Belfry.

Paul Hurren has been appointed senior operations manager with responsibility for the City and the South-west at Charlton House, which is based in Reading, Berkshire. He was operations manager with contract caterer Avenance in London.

Nikki Walters has become business development manager at Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club at Wych Cross, East Sussex. She was promoted from events manager.

Frank Crull has been selected as food and beverage manager for the Holiday Inn London-Docklands ExCel, due to open in May. He was food and beverage manager of the Dorint hotel in Berlin.

Wayne Leonard has joined the Gisborough Hall hotel in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, as catering operations manager. He previously ran his own 120-seat restaurant and tennis complex, Hearty's, in the Costa del Sol, Spain.

Vijay Sharma has been recruited as revenue manager for Aristel Group, London. He was rooms division manager for Oberoi & Radisson Hotels in India.

Stephen Bennet has joined the Gliffeas hotel in Crickhowell, Powys, as head chef. He had held the same role at the Penmaenuchaf hotel in Dolgellau, Gwynedd.

Alasdair Swan has joined the Best Western Donnington Manor hotel in Sevenoaks, Kent, as general manager. He was general manager at the Botleigh Grange hotel, Southampton.

Raffles International has promoted Leong Wai Leng to deputy chief executive officer of Raffles Holdings. She was deputy chief executive officer of finance and investments.

Taryn George has been appointed business development manager at Tylney Hall hotel in Hook, Hampshire. She was conference and events manager at Hotel!Hotel! in Esher, Surrey.

Michael Helling has joined the Grove hotel in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, ahead of its September opening as food and beverage manager. He was operations director at Sketch restaurant, London.

Rachael Brindley has been promoted by Corus Hotels from account manager for the Midlands to meetings and events sales manager. She will be based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Food supplier Cargill Integra has made some changes to its organisational structure: Nick Shaw is promoted to general manager of Cargill Integra Europe, based at the company's headquarters in Worcester. He was business unit manager.

Paul Nolten, based in Denekamp, Holland, becomes commercial manager for Europe. He was commercial manager of Cargill Integra.

Gabriel Servini has been appointed commercial manager for the UK, based in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. He was managing director of Dare Valley Poultry, acquired by Cargill Integra in September last year.
