Sat Bains joins list of chefs to cook at Auction Against Hunger event

Sat Bains, Nuno Mendes, Francesco Mazzei, Jose Pizzaro and Neil Rankin are among the list of top chefs set to cook at this year's second Auction Against Hunger event, for which tickets have gone on sale today.

Stylist magazine website Emerald Street, Shortlist magazine website Mr Hyde, and website Hot Dinners â€' will take place on 22 May as part of Street Feast in London’s Dalston Yard.

It will also include street feast brands Yum Bun, Breddos Tacos and Pizza Pilgrims, and be hosted by chef and Sunday Times columnist Gizzi Erskine.

A Champagne Tattinger champagne bar will also feature, along with frozen margarita cocktails from Jose Cuervo and the Rotary Bar.

Tickets to the fundraiser cost £55, while a host of foodie prizes â€" including a Champagne breakfast, an overnight stay in the Ritz, a private butchery class and dinner with food critic Fay Maschler â€' will be on auction between 7 to 23 May, hoping to attract the highest bids.

Last year the event raised over £100,000 for humanitarian organisation ACF International, which works to end malnutrition in children, in more than 40 countries damaged by conflict, natural disaster, food insecurity or unsafe water.    Â
