London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 32.1% in the week ending 24 December, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar climbed to £57.21, up from £43.32 during the equivalent week of 2005.

Occupancy grew by 7.2 percentage points to 49.6% while average room rate increased by 12.9% to £115.46, up from £102.23 in the corresponding week of 2005.
