Sodexo, the caterer and facilities management company, has announced its new managing director for healthcare.

Simon Scrivens replaces Iain Anderson, who leaves the business this summer to take on the role of chief executive at the National Fostering Agency.

Scrivens joined Sodexo in 2007 to run its food manufacturing business, Tillery Valley Foods, from Rentoli-Initial.

He said: “The healthcare market is changing and we now need to focus more on the whole patient experience, putting patients at the heart of everything we do.”
