New vice-president roles at Hilton and Accor
Industry veteran Michael Prager has been appointed as senior vice-president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Hilton Worldwide](http://www.hiltonworldwide.com/).
Prager, who has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector, will drive the sales strategy of more than 240 hotels and seven brands across 44 countries in his new role.
Previously at hospitality restructuring group Oriel Securities, Prager was chief executive of the Real Hotel Group (previously CHE Hotels Group), and has also worked for Bass Hotels (now InterContinental Hotels Group) in an executive capacity.
Kenneth Svendsen, global head of sales and reservations at Hilton, said: "I am delighted to welcome Michael on board in this role. His wide-ranging experience in managing projects from start-ups through to large corporate organisations will enable him to continue driving the EMEA region forward."
Meanwhile at [Accor Hotels](http://www.accorhotels.com), Sebastien Valentin has joined as senior vice-president of financial communications and investor relations. He was a senior analyst in charge of hotels and leisure at Societe Generale's equity research team.
